Premier sponsored Rob Guiver (Ducati Romford / Hyside Racing) returned to the scene of last year’s crash at Brands Hatch to take a hat-trick of pole, fastest lap and Race 1 win on Saturday. It was an imperious performance by the Essex racer who took the chequered flag three seconds ahead of the field going some way to erasing the memory of last season’s horrendous Brands smash that left him with two broken hands and a fractured ankle. Josh Wainwright (Boast Plumbing) who is also backed by Premier, finished third in Race 1 and second in Sunday’s Race 2 and now leads the Ducati Tri-Options Cup Championship after four rounds.
