Premier Security & Fire Ltd’s choice of paint for our recent series of fire-tests with the BRE (British Research Establishment) proved to be a key factor in our ultimate testing success.
Premier elected to use AkzoNobel’s Interpon brand for our LPS1175 SR3 and SR4 testing up to EI90 standard which saw our doors and louvres subjected to fire temperatures of 1057 degrees Celsius for almost two hours.
The photographs featured here were taken before (1), during (2) and after (3) the fire tests and official BRE reports illustrate that at no time did the Interpon polyester powder paint ignite or become an agent of the fire. Amazing product.
