Blast Trials a Success at DNV Spadeadam | Premier Security Ballistic & Blast

This week at DNV Spadeadam, Premier Security Ballistic & Blast Ltd put seven systems in front of 100kg of TNT — and we’re delighted to report that every single design passed.
Our primary specimen, a fully glazed curtain walling system, stood at 15m standoff: the harshest condition in the entire programme. Six further systems faced the blast at 19m:

•     Fully glazed single sliding door
•     Fully glazed double sliding door
•     Unglazed single door
•     Unglazed double door
•     Revolving door assembly
•     Casement window

The results speak for themselves — every design passed, two achieving an A-pass and the rest a strong B-pass.
